Here is how it works:

  • Get a telephone number, new or ported, for $5.00 per month, with customized auto-attendant greetings.
  • Set up a call queue for $2.50 per month plus 0.5¢ per minute usage and call forwarding extensions for each of your phones for $5.00 per month plus 1¢ per minute usage.
  • When callers call your number(s) they will hear a greeting of your choice (based on day, night and holiday schedules).
  • While your callers are waiting in the on-hold queue, you will receive calls from the queue on any numbers you like (cell or other) via the call forwarding extensions. If the call is answered, your caller is connected; if not, they continue to wait on hold. In this setup, the calls will ring out of the queue to your phone(s) for a set length of time, then pause for a set length of time (to prevent your cell/home phone's voicemail from picking up the call) and repeat until answered.
