Hosted PBX Features - Auto-Attendant

An auto-attendant (also referred to as an "automated attendant") allows callers to self-select the person, department, recorded information or voicemail box that they would like to reach without the intervention of an operator or receptionist. An auto-attendant programmed with suitable greetings and a menu of numerical options gives your business or organization an more polished and business-like appearance to your callers, as well as aiding with the processing and and routing of your incoming calls.

The auto-attendant of our hosted PBX can be programmed with various greetings, which can be scheduled to place based on time of day, day or week or day of year and present your callers with different options based on whether they call during business hours or after hours.

Common routing choices that you may have included with your auto-attendant's numerical menu include transfer to ring group, transfer to incoming call holding queue, transfer to extension, repeat greeting, transfer to a sub-menu (for more options), transfer to voicemail, transfer to a recorded message (such as directions to your location, address or office hours) and a default action, should the caller not make a selection.

Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions about our auto-attendant features and possible configurations. We look forward to hearing from you!
