International Toll Free Numbers
In today's global economy, many companies have a client base that is scattered around the globe. For those who wish to expand into global markets or are already in those global markets, Douglas Telecom offers many international toll free solutions to help your clients get in touch with you. These international toll free numbers can be seamlessly integrated with your current Douglas Telecom Hosted VOIP PBX or simply forwarded to any number of your choosing. With our international toll free service you receive all the same convenience and technology that you expect from our domestic services at similarly competitive
rates.
An international toll free number is the equivalent of a 1-800 number in the U.S. It saves your international clients the trouble of international dialing, the complications of dialing US-domestic toll free numbers from outside the US, and, perhaps most convenient, the call is free (for the caller), enhancing your image with your customers and clients.
Presently we offer international toll free numbers for the following countries: Australia, Austria, Bahamas, Bahrain, Barbados, Belgium, Bermuda, Botswana, Brazil, Brunei, Canada, Cayman Islands, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Dominica, Dominican Republic, Egypt, France, Finland, Germany, Greece, Grenada, Guatemala, Hong Kong, Hungary, Indonesia, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Jamaica, Luxembourg, Mexico, New Zealand, Netherlands, Norway, Panama, Poland, Portugal, Russia, Singapore, South Africa, South Korea, Sweden, Switzerland, St Kitts & Nevis, St Lucia, Taiwan, Thailand, Trinidad & Tobago, UK, Uruguay, Venezuela and Vietnam. Calls dialed on one of these international toll free numbers can only be received from telephone numbers within the respective country for which the toll free number has been issued; for example, if you have a German toll free number you would receive calls on it from numbers within Germany.
Each international toll free number costs $10.00 per month with incoming calls billed in increments of one minute, rounded up to the nearest penny.

As with almost all of Douglas Telecom services, international toll free numbers can be activated as a stand-alone service and calls received on them would simply be forwarded to a destination of your choice. Alternatively, they can be integrated into our full DTI Hosted VOIP phone system or PBX, with competitive incoming and outgoing rates on international and domestic long distance. As stated, numbers can flexibly be forwarded to any number of your choosing as well. In addition to these features, we offer a host of voicemail, voice prompt and free overflow call handling features so that,
even if you pay for only one number, you will never have a customer receive a busy signal, even if 5, 10, or 100 customers are calling you simultaneously. The overflow call handling features are explained on the sign up form, but please let us know if you have any specialized call handing needs.

Our domestic and international toll free service does not require additional equipment to activate and maintain. If you are interested in Douglas Telecoms unique Hosted VOIP solution, you will need a broadband Internet connection, such as DSL, a cable modem, or a similar service. Additionally, you would need a SIP protocol-compatible device such as a telephone set, router, gateway or PC software. We have a line of equipment we can configure and deliver to you, but you also have the freedom of using the hardware/software configuration of your choosing.
