Fax Services

Let’s start from the beginning. The reason we like the fax is because it is simple. No cumbersome things to deal with, just push the button and the fax comes out on the other end. So why is that other fax service providers need to make it complicated? We are not them and that is why we made it simple. We kept the good: simplicity and speed. And took away the bad: uncertaintly and unreliability – you don’t always know whether or not the other party received your fax or not. With our service, we will tell you whether the fax was received or not, plain and simple.

Plus, imagine if you could skip going through the big pile of faxes to find that one fax from a month or a year or who knows how long ago. You know, that pile of faxes over there that you hate to go through. With our fax service finding a fax is a snap – just type in a keyword for the fax you are searching for and receive a list of applicable faxes. Five seconds is all it takes to get a list of faxes matching your search criteria.

Fax Delivery & Reception Options

Faxes can be delivered to recipients in one of two ways. The system can sent the fax directly to their fax machine. If their fax machine is busy, it will keep trying until the fax goes through completely. If one or more of the pages of your fax have line errors, the system will detect this and resend just those particular pages.

Let’s say your fax recipient doesn’t actually have a fax, has a very unreliable fax machine or has a poor quality fax line. Instead of having the fax sent to their fax number, it could instead be sent to their email address. Even if the recipient does have a fax machine and reliable connections, in some cases it is just more convenient to send the fax via email, especially when multiple people share one fax machine. Sending the fax to the recipient's email address ensures that the fax gets into the right hands.

Here’s how it works: You sent the fax to the DTI fax server and an email is automatically sent to the recipient, alerting them that they have received a fax. The recipient clicks on the link and voila, they see the fax. In your fax log, you can even check to see when they viewed and printed the fax.

Your fax receiving options are just as varied as your sending options. If you choose, you can receive faxes either via email or via your fax machine, or even both at the same time. The best part of receiving your faxes through our server is that you can easily review your received faxes, and if necessary, reprint them. For added convenience, you can add annotations and dated comments to your faxes for easy keyword searchability later on.
